Editorial Reviews

All Movie Guide
It's not Rashomon, but Faithless -- a dark little experiment in narrative storytelling -- surpasses expectations. The direction by Raul Sanchez Inglis, who also scripted, is at times uncertain, and there is an obvious amount of redundancy that might have been trimmed without costing anything to the story, but overall the film is engaging and adequately entertaining. Most notable are the cagey performances of the handsome main trio, as each actor changes personality -- some slightly, some drastically -- for each of the different viewpoints. The erotic elements, a few of which are somewhat explicit, are edited briskly and without cliché. The shocking ending might catch a few by surprise -- and it might infuriate others with its abrupt violence -- but for the most part it works as a satisfying conclusion to a sexy-yet-grim tale.
