    A True Romantic Gem

I caught the second part of this movie when it was sneaked peek on AMC and I just had to watch the first part. I read the book and no doubt the book was much different from the movie but that didn't stop me from loving both. The dialogue and scenery are absolutely mesmerizing. And since I am going to Ireland myself, this movie only hightens my excitement in going. The acting was incredible especially by it's two leading actors, Liam Cunningham and Elizabeth Dermot-Walsh. It's a powerful love story set against a dramatic backdrop. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is a romantic at heart.

Feelings That Remain Long After the Movie is Finished.

The scenery was lovely. The script struck a chord for the plight of women. The intensity of Mossie's (Liam Cunningham)love and the gentleness of his soul left me in awe of his acting ability. For a movie to touch so deep that it brings you to tears, much credit must be given to the script, directing and the acting. This has it all.

WOW! Let's Have More Movies Like This.....

I saw this miniseries on Women's Entertainment last week...had to watch it several times in order to catch all of the dialog...and still missed a lot. Don't know if it was a technical sound problem or just that I couldn't catch the dialect. Would love to read the book...if it is available. It could almost have been written as a biography of my mother.
