This family-friendly drama of a boy and his dog gets a simple, but well-executed, presentation on DVD. Far From Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog has been given two transfers to disc for this release: one letterboxed in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 (and enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors) and another pan-and-scan image to the full-frame ratio of 1.33:1. The original English soundtrack has been mastered in Dolby Digital Surround, as has a dubbed track in Spanish, while a French-dubbed version is in Dolby Digital Stereo. Optional subtitles in English and Spanish have been included, as well as closed captions in English. No additional bonus material appears on this release.

A really great movie! Keeps you on the edge of your seat and a great story! Highly recommend it!

first of all the movie has Jesse Bradford in it oh he's so cute and now he's an adult he also played in Bring It On from 2000 he's a great actor the movie is about when he gets a dog him and the become good close friends but he gets lost in the woods and its ok he's safe with his dog i bet if i watched this movie i would cry im sorta emoutional to films like this one its a great movie and i remember it
