Overview

A remake of the 1950 movie, this story follows the painfully humorous account of the chaos that ensues when George Banks (Steve Martin) discovers that his "baby" girl (Kimberly Williams) is engaged to be married. While his wife Nina (Diane Keaton), his daughter, and his future son-in-law (George Newbern) are blissfully engaged in planning an elaborate wedding, George comically battles with his feelings of resentment and loss as he prepares to hand his daughter over to another man.
