Overview

A young runaway, an elderly woman with a failing memory, and a boy looking for a way out of a dead end town find that sometimes it takes getting lost in order to truly find your way in life in this independent drama from filmmaker Alison Mason. The moment young Edie got behind the wheel of a car, she punched the gas and never looked back. Meanwhile, all Jean does is look back. A solitary senior whose mind is slowly deteriorating, she sits alone in her silent house, and drifts back to the days when she was surrounded by family. When Edie drifts into a small town and meets Cal, a kindly young man who works at the local diner, their mutual desire to break free from the past bonds them instantly. But sometimes in order to get a clean start, we must first make peace with our former lives. And when Edie meets Jean, it's the dawn of a new era for everyone.
