A woman is forced to prove her own sanity to save the life of her daughter in this taut thriller. Kyle Pratt (Jodie Foster) is a successful aircraft designer who has recently been dealing with the traumatic death of her husband. After traveling to Berlin on business with her six-year-old daughter, Julia (Marlene Lawston), Kyle falls asleep on their flight back to New York, only to discover that her daughter has gone missing. While not knowing where Julia has gone is troubling enough, even more disturbing is the insistence by sky marshal Gene Carson (Peter Sarsgaard) and Captain Rich (Sean Bean) that no records indicate that the child ever boarded the jet. As Kyle becomes increasingly desperate to find her daughter, she must prove to the men in charge that her daughter did in fact board the plane with her, and that this turn of events is not a product of her imagination. But if Julia has gone missing, who has taken her and why? Also starring Erika Christensen and Kate Beahan, Flightplan was the first English-language feature from German director Robert Schwentke.

the film was okay and we the viewer were like no way can they not see the girl and we wonder did she really exist. anyway the film stars jodie foster from panic room and inside man. while on a plane with her husband's coffin, her daughter goes missing and that's where the real suspense begins where if she's telling the truth or imagining it. I was very surprised by who the real villian was and thought it was an okay movie and a little confusing near the end. watch it if you like. honestly panic room and red eye is better but glad that sean bean was at least in it.
This movie was the best i have ever seen. The plot was amazingly good. Especially the end. If you are looking for a thriller, than this one is for you.
Wow, thrilling, entertaining, fast, smart, awesome movie. Jodie Foster and the rest of the actors are outstanding, this movie takes you into the NEW age of travelling, what is possible, what will people believe. How much do the news and common fear take us, you have to be aware... This is a must see, thanks for sharing this work. Brilliant
This movie is just awful. The plot is stupid and ridiculous. Not even Jodie Foster's acting can save this film. It's that bad.
The movie was just awesome. It was action packed all at once. I would defanitly recomend this movie to anyone. It was a excellent movie. Kept me guessing. It will leave you Guessing!
Flightplan was a very good Thriller. I think the title of the movie let's the viewer now that this is indeed a thriller but it doesn't get too much away about the movie. It kept the movie very suspensful and unpredictable from the time it began till the time it ended. I was at the edge of my seat throughout the movie wondering what was going to happen next. While I was watching this movie I was unable to get distracted by anything, it was so good. I would definetely say this is one of the best thrilles i've seen and I would reccommend this movie to children over the age of 10 because it could be a little frightening for young children. This is a movie I could watch over and over again.
I loved this movie. It had good acting and had me on the edge of my seat. You need to see it. I recromend that you let 11 and up year old s see it. It would be scary foy younger kids.
this movie rox my sox it was my first thriller ever to see in thearters i was 11 then i recomend this movie to evryone who likes a good phcialchical thriller
What I loved about this movie was the great performance by Jodie Foster who also did a spectacular performance in Anna and the King. It really made me laugh at how brutal a mother could be when she can't find her kid. I loved all the characters in it. The lead actor was also very well played. Rent this the day it comes out cause it roks my soks. It also has amazing effects. Thumbs up!
Wow! This movie kept me guessing until the very end. This was one of Jodie Foster's best films ever!
The acting is top-notch, but the plot and storyline could have been much better. It wasn't very suspensful or frightening. I would recommend it for ages 11-14, but anyone will love it! It is DEFINATELY worth watching... and multiple times at that!!
This airplane thriller will have you suspecting everybody on the plane. Great acting, plot, and the sets are first rate. Jodie has done it again.
This new DVD, "Flightplan" is a great movie! Proof of sanity is a key fact in this movie right down to the ending. Kyle Pratt is an engineer designer who is dealing with much grief over the sudden death of her husband. She is returning to New York in a new plane that she helped to design. While on the plane with her six-year old daughter she awakes to find Julia gone. Though she has searched she finds that nobody has ever seen her daughter, so she comes to believe that her daughter has been kidnapped. She wants and has to desperately find her daughter to prove to everyone she is not crazy. In the end the question that is answered is who took Julia and why? This such a great and thrilling movie right down to the end. Not only does it express somethinfg that can happen in everday life, but it also shows th ebonding love a mother has for her children, in that she will stop at nothing to save them. It was an awesome movie that kept me glued to my seat in expectation and anxiousness. In watching this movie make sure you don't jump to conclusions anbout the ending. Also pay much attention during the movie because it does give you some clues as to what the ending and answers are. Have fun!!!!
