Freddy's Dead: The Final NightmareDirector: Rachel Talalay, Robert Englund, Lisa Zane, Shon Greenblatt
The burned and charred dream stalker Freddy Krueger finally meets his maker in Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare, the sixth entry in the Nightmare on Elm Street series. This transfer by New Line is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen (as well as 1.33:1 full frame) and looks very good. Except for a small amount of grain in a few areas, this is a generally great-looking picture with solid predominant black levels. The audio is presented in a Dolby Digital 5.1 mix and is also well produced. A few surround sounds escape out of the front and rear speakers while the bulk of the soundtrack is free of any excessive distortion or muddled dialogue. Also included on this disc is a Dolby 2.0 soundtrack and English subtitles. The only extra features available on this disc include an original theatrical trailer, some cast and crew information, a "Jump to a Nightmare" selection screen, and some DVD-ROM content. This is a good-looking disc, though only recommended for those looking to complete their Nightmare on Elm Street series on DVD.

Lisa Zane is a child psychologist tormented by recurring nightmares. But not until she meets a new patient with the same dreams. Her curosity leads her to a nice house on Elm.Street where she meets Freddy himself. Some gore and good killings but isn't the best.It is okay but not the best!
The evil Freddy Krueger(Robert Englund)returns for new victims in A Nightmare on Elm.Street 6(Freddy's Dead). Lisa Zane(Maggie)is a child psychologist tormented by nightmares. But not until she meets a new patient with the same horrific dream does her quest for answers lead to a certain house on Elm.Street-where an evil that defies the grave is about to be unleashed upon the world.Special Apperances by Tom Arnold,Roseanne, and Johnny Depp(Greg,Nightmare 1).This is not the best of the series. My favorites are 1,3,4,5,7.2 is about the same as 6.But still enjoyable!
