The main characters in this chapter are Tina, Nick and, of course, Jason.

Tina possesses many powers of the mind. Telekinesis, visions, etc.

Tina was traumatized as a child, leaving her emotionally damaged. Her shrink, Dr. Cruize, brings her back to the lake, so she can relive the trauma. However he has no interest in helping Tina. He knows her powers are strongest when her emotions are at their peak, his only interest is documenting telekinesis.

Nick is staying in the cabin next door to Tina, along with a group of partying teens. Nick had come to spend time with his cousin. He was instantly drawn to Tina. Nick and Tina bonded quickly, and he introduced her to the others . He remained unaware of her gifts until near the end.

Tina sensed a presence in the lake, and reached out to it with her mind. Unaware of who, and what, Jason was she accidently releases him from his watery prison.

Jason proceeds to eliminate those staying with Nick. Then goes after Tina's mom, and Dr. Cruize. Tina and Nick eventually find the bodies and articles on Jason. That's when Nick also learns of Tina's gifts.

When Tina finally comes face to mask with Jason a powerful battle results. For the first time Jason faced someone who was also Super-Human. She electrocuted Jason. Collapsed a roof on him. Hanged him. Set him on fire, and much more.

In climax Tina and Nick were trapped on a dock. Nick fighting for with a gun, his bare hands and plenty of courage. Finally Tina was able to return Jason to the lake.

At the very end Tina and Nick were in an ambulance together. Both wounded, neither crippled. Instant attraction had combined with shared trauma and survival to created an unbreakable bond. She would always be a part of him, and he would always be a part of her.

This was a great chapter in the Friday the 13th series

DOES NOT CONTAIN THE SLEEPING SCENE UNCUT

as the above mentions it this version does not contain the sleeping bag scene uncut. i saw none of the reviews mention this and thought id let others know. for those who dont know the original theatrical release had the sleeping bag death scene with jason hitting the victim against a tree 3 times instead of one. and apparently all releases now have this scene edited. but i swear up and down i rented an old vhs copy at a local store and he took 3 swings not one.paramounts reasoning for this is they lost the footage or something as equally as lame. this is the 3rd time this has been released with out the scene uncut. so as to why this makes it truely "deluxe" i have no idea. so buyer beware dont have too high hopes of finally being able to see this movie uncut the way it was intended. other than that its a great classic sequel in a classic slasher film series. i guess the only real incentive for buying this is that you dont have it or are wanting to upgrade your old degraded vhs copy. enjoy!

    Friday the 13th 7

Why are they trying to copy some elements from other movies that are good like Carrie and Firestarter includingother magic person who can move things with his or her mind. Doesn't help especially how they got the mask off of Jason. Why would they do that, the series is suffering anyway no need to see Jason's face even though we know its not a pretty site since he had some disease where he supposedly drowned since the kids at the camp pushed him in not helping because of how ugly he looked. Awful next to the others in the series except for part 1, 3, and 6.

    Stinks!

Jason Voorhees is resurrected yet once again for a horrible sequal. This time the manic monster is pitted against a telekinetic teen. It's a wonder why these stupid movies made any money in the '80s!

    Personal Favorite Friday

Kane Hodder mastered Jason in my favorite Friday flick. It was the best make-up job ever done in the series. By far, Jason meets his greatest challenge yet. The punishment Jason endures and keeps coming is great. He also has many unique kills in ''The New Blood.''

    One Of The Best

One thing I love about part 7 of the Friday movies is the run down on the previous films. And the fact that is actually a contiuation from part 6. So many movie sequals never really have that connection with the previous film, it's basically a new film. But that is where Friday teh 13th films rock. Most of them have some connection the the previous film. This is where part 7 gets clever. With the obvious refrences to Carrie, which is great and not embarrasing. To the excellent body count on offer. And lets face it folks thats what Friday movies are all about. Sure we want a bit of a story line and watchable acting. And unlike Part 8. Thank god Friday 7 delivers. One disapointing thing on the DVD though....it states on the back cover a teaser trailer. But this was nowhere to be found. Also on the disc the running time is 111min. But the films running time on the back cover is 85mins. Anyway if u love Friday the 13th films. this is highly recommended
