Since its premiere in 1994, Friends has been among television's most consistent sitcoms, winning Emmys and launching its stars onto film careers. Haircuts have changed, significant others have come and gone, but the show's likeable, breezy, and usually gentle humor (a rarity in these post-Seinfeld days of jarring laffs) has remained. The original cast has endured, too: David Schwimmer as the sometimes dorky Ross; Matt LeBlanc as the airhead actor Joey; Matthew Perry as the cynical, unlucky Chandler; Jennifer Aniston as the princess-y Rachel; Courteney Cox as the matron-in-training Monica; and Lisa Kudrow as the profound ditz Phoebe. Picking up where The Best of Friends 1 & 2 left off, this set includes 11 hilarious episodes. Volume Three opens with " The One With The Blackout," in which Chandler finds himself trapped in an ATM vestibule -- fortunately, with supermodel Jill Goodacre. In "The One With The Candy Hearts," Joey and Chandler go on a double date, but to Chandler's horror, his date is his ex-girlfriend Janice. "The One Where Ross and Rachel... You Know" features the couple's first date, after which they make an attempt to... you know. Then, the gang decides to play a friendly game of football, which devolves into a series of personal competitions, in "The One With The Football." The disc closes out with a surreal fantasy episode, "The One That Could Have Been (Part 1 and Part 2)," in which the gang discusses what their lives would be like if they had chosen different paths. The fourth volume begins with "The One With Chandler In A Box," which features Joey dramatic decision to move out -- and his bargain to makes Chandler spend Thanksgiving Day in a leftover furniture crate. In "The One Hundredth," Phoebe finally delivers Frank Jr.'s triplets, as Rachel tries to set herself and Monica up on dates, Joey develops kidney stones, and Phoebe ponders motherhood. "The One With All The Resolutions" takes place on New Year's Eve; the friends make resolutions that wind up getting them all into trouble. In "The One Where Ross Got High," Thanksgiving dinner turns into a fiasco when Chandler discovers that the reason Monica's parents don't like him is because Ross blamed him when his parents caught him smoking pot in college. And, in classic Friends style, the set closes with a cliffhanging quandary in "The One With The Proposal (Part 1 and Part 2)," wherein Chandler tries unsuccessfully to propose to Monica when Richard (Tom Selleck) reenters the picture, setting Monica up for a very big decision.

If you are interested in seeing more, i think that you should get the 1st and 2nd complete seasons. It is on my holiday list. Friends is the best show ever. I think that all of the episodes of friends belong on these movies. That is why i am happy that they came out with the complete 1st and 2nd seasons and are coming out with all the other seasons. Also on the DVDs of the complete seasons, they have tons of extra stuff.
