Overview

The damage that was wrought on the Gulf Coast by Hurricane Katrina was nothing short of devastating. The wounds inflicted by Katrina run much deeper than the obvious though, and in this release, concerned filmmakers focus their attentions not on the structural damage caused by the powerful tropical storm, but the political failings that threatened to leave many lifelong Louisiana residents homeless and destitute in their darkest hour. Join producer
eporter Martin Smith as he poses the questions that most reporters were afraid to ask, and attempts to uncover the reasons that the system failed both before and after Hurricane Katrina thundered her way into the history books.
