    Simply amazing!

Of course, I have yet to buy the DVD, but I have been faithfully watching this "new season" as people keep referring it as, since it began to air on the Funimation channel on Youtube.

For those who don't know, this isn't a new season at all. It is a remake. Although I absolutely loved the first one, this revivals, if not surpasses it. It definitely follows the manga more faithfully, while the first completely deviated from it within the first five episodes. Also, there's more of this one (with 63 vs. 51 episodes). You will not see any filler episodes, that's for sure. There are more characters, and most everyone is given a unique and interesting personality that develops as the show does. Of course, the first "season" had different stories for the homunculi, you will (much later) understand why they didn't elaborate on them with the exception of Father.

As for the animation itself; the fight scenes are very fluid and natural. You can tell they didn't just use the same model for every character, but instead made their physique as unique as possible. However, the colors weren't as vibrant as in the first FMA, which turned me off a little first, but I got used to it.

If you're an anime fan, you'll simply worship this anime. If you're not, this show has a very progressive story line and it's all very concise; It is sad, funny, and full of action and adventure. The characters all well rounded, and you'll never tire of them. It's simply a great watch.
