    I Also Recommend:

Whoa, did you hear that? I was like a pop, bang, clunk. Whoa, did you see that. Too bad we didn't actually get it on camera!

I had high hopes when I heard of this show. I've always been fascinated with the paranormal, I've had a few dark encounters myself. It seems to be that the general census of non-gullible individuals is that seeing is believing. I know that I don't even try to explain my encounters to people, because how could you really believe people these days. We have always been deceitful, we even deceive ourselves by thinking that we are mostly good. So with modern technology and movie magic, anything seen on video leaves intelligent people asking, Is that real. I can honestly say that Ghost Hunters can't even get a reaction like that. There is absolutely, and I mean absolutely nothing that even remotely resembles actual footage of the paranormal. I was ill one day, relaxing and making a lazy day of it. I saw that there was a Ghost Hunters marathon going on and tuned in. I must of watched 15 episodes in hope that I would see something that might raise the hairs on my neck. Nothing! All I saw was a bunch of freaking con-artist who make absolute fools of themselves in an attempt to maybe scare us? I don't know. I will give credit where it is due, they do find reasons why some of these residents would feel like there was a presence or that someone was watching them. 99% of the time it was caused by substandard or old housing and old or faulty electrical outlets that were omitting into the environment a level of electricity that can cause Nausea, paranoia and sometimes even hallucinations. They do know what they're talking about when it comes to this. I like that they don't kid people about these kinds of issues. Other than that it is a bunch of, What was that? Did you see that? How did this object end up on the floor? Always sounding like idiots trying to explain the sound that they heard. It was like a crash, clunk, pop, whistle. Freaking insulting. If you didn't catch it on film, how could you expect people to buy your crappy explanation of what you heard. If you're a fan of the paranormal and are looking for some kind of hidden treasure in these episodes save your money. If you want to laugh and watch a few insidious fools come into their own, don't bother wasting your money. You can enjoy them on TV, where they reside with the rest of the ridicules reality shows.

Ghost Hunters, Season 2, Part 2

Jay, Grant and company always take their investigations seriously. I find them informative and they and the crew are quite personable.

    Ghost Hunters is #1

The second season gets better with part 2. With the Waverly Hills Sanatorium, St. Augustine Lighthouse, and the Stanley Hotel this set is by far the best of the first two seasons. Some great debunking shows how great this team is and that they aren't fake. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
