    Brings back memories....

I used to watch this show as a child and my husband and I have gotten into watching it with our son. It does show mostly american soldiers, but they do occasionally work with the October Gaurd from Russia. We love it and so do my friends and my 2 kids.

    Pro War Propaganda

I use to watch GI JOE as a child without really understanding what it really was--Cold War Propaganda. While the story telling is at times creative it is important to note that all of the ''villians'' have foreign accents while the ''good guys'' are all clearly American. It is sad and embarrassing to see something so blatantly offensive marketed to children--during the fighting scenes no one ever dies or gets too terribly hurt which is far from the reality of war. The people responsible for this should be ashamed of themselves..................
