Ginger Snaps 2: UnleashedDirector: Brett Sullivan, Emily Perkins, Katharine Isabelle, Tatiana Maslany
The first sequel to the critically acclaimed Canadian horror film Ginger Snaps finds Katharine Isabelle and Emily Perkins returning to their roles under the direction of first-time feature filmmaker Brett Sullivan, who received a Genie Award nomination for his editing work on the first film. Released directly to DVD in the United States after a theatrical run in Canada, Ginger Snaps 2: Unleashed finds Brigitte terrorizing a drug-rehab clinic when she's denied the serum that curbs her wolf-like tendencies. The film is presented in widescreen with the English soundtrack mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are available as well. Along with the film itself, the disc provides viewers with several bonuses, not the least of which is a feature-length audio commentary track. For an even more in-depth look at the making of the film, there is behind-the-scenes footage, a featurette focusing on the makeup department's task of transforming the actors into blood-thirsty beasts, and a collection of original storyboards. Last but not least, several deleted scenes are included, rounding out a nicely loaded package.

Some sequels suck and some are just as good, this one falls in between. A good horror movie on its own, but lacking the pizzzazzz of GINGER. A no win for the producers.
Im a huge fan of the first but this one confused me. Who was the werewolf? Stick to the first one.
I loved this movie and it is just as good as the first one, even though I know that some others would disagree. Its a good horror flick and it kept me entertained throughout the whole film, which can be hard to do. Brigitte is a lot stronger in this movie than in the first one, which I liked, perhaps the only thing that I did not enjoy was the ending. It has a twist that I didn't really see coming, nonetheless this is a great film and I would definitely reccomend it.
this movie is just as good as the first in my opinion. most people think this was okay. But I think it has most of what the first had. Brigette is more tough and stronger in here. If you liked part 1 then you will like this.
The 2nd ginger snap moive I did'nt realy like I think becouse of the ending. If it was not for the ending i would have liked it. So I would just say rent the 2nd and buy the 1st one and the 3rd one
I saw this one after Ginger Snaps and watched it carefully and like it except for some scenes. After the first, we're left with Brigette on her own with memories of her sister Ginger. After a close call with other werewolf who Brigette tells a 'friend' why the wolf is after her near the middle somewhat close to the end of the movie. Brigette seems to show her strong tuff side but pays a price at the end which I can't believe happens as her fate. Entertaining movie though.
"Ginger Snaps" returns and this time, it's just as good (if not better than) as the original!
This time, you follow Brigitte, Ginger's sister. She's plagued by Ginger's spirit (in a sense) and also struggles to keep her own infection at bay. Using the wolf bane serum, she tries to calm it. After a bit of an "issue" and some OD on it, she's found passed out in the snow where she wakes up in a rehab center, where's she's mistaken as a druggie. Now, she's stuck here without her serum and with the "help" of a girl named Ghost, she tries to find a way to escape. However, her other problem? There's a new wolf and he's tracking her and he desperately wants to find her...
I honestly think I liked this one better than the original. It was much creepier at some parts and actually had me on edge, while the original just had me sitting there, not really worried about seeing anything that would scare me. xD But this one was different. Sudden flashes of gory images and creepier atmospheres can quickly make you uneasy. The movie's entire filming is obviously of better quality. The wolf this time? Fur! Yeah, fur. It doesn't look like the bald ugly things from the original, which looked like a plus for me.
All performances are pretty well done and quite believable, from Brigitte to Ghost to the "pervert guard" (can't remember his name) that you'll see many times.
If you've seen the first Ginger Snaps, see this one as well. If you haven't, go back, see the first one, then see this one. :3 Well worth the time.
