Overview

The sensationalistic collegiate thriller Gossip comes to DVD with a surprising amount of extras, including a widescreen, anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 Audio, and an audio commentary with director Davis Guggenheim and star James Marsden. Deleted scenes and an alternate ending are two of the juicy tidbits the disc offers, along with "Travis' Gossip Interviews," which show Travis' (Norman Reedus) troublemaking interviews with Beau (Joshua Jackson), Naomi (Kate Hudson), and the other students involved in a purported date rape. Videos for Poe's "Our Lips Are Sealed" and Tonic's "Mean to Me," cast and crew filmographies, and the theatrical trailer round out this entertaining and surprisingly complete look at one of 2000's guilty pleasures.
