    High Recommended

This movie is fantastic Hilary Duff's gives her best performance to date. I am a fan of Hilary and like most of you due to Lizzie Mcguire but I stood up and took notice that there is more to Ms. Duff then her Disney image. She is a force to be reckoned with.

    I Also Recommend:

A sharp witted, sharp tongued, protagonist-- who keeps the momentum from beginning to end

There is not a slow moment, not a moment to take a breather, in this movie. From beginning to end Greta (Hilary) spills out quick witted, sharp tongued comebacks, that--with her underlying moodiness, deep conviction and wolf-like confidence (ready to tear into anyone for her self-imposed idea of being weak, and yet, not seeing her own unwobbling strength) all make her an intriguing dysfunction; one that is followed by her complete sass and uncaring for how that emotion affects those around her. Particularly Julie, the wise soul, played by Evan Ross--who gives an alluring performance alongside Duff. Both of them carry a mature role--whose characters' essence can be compared to Mandy Moore for Ross and Billy Crudup for Duff, in 07's "Dedication"--while the storyline itself carries a resemblance to 1971's "Harold and Maude." Greta, like all three movies stated, are under Drama Romance, which would be better labeled as Drama and Self Discovery. An, if any movie goer out there likes the unforgettable-moody-Dramas, Greta's an excellent companion to the genre.
