I bought this DVD because I love John Adams' music (and Tim McAllister is an AMAZING artist). Two of my favorite things. Dudamel is fresh and exciting. An amazing concert and well worth the money. This is sure to help fuel interest and excitement for classical music.
Gustavo brought excitement in the performance of Mahler's 1st Symphony. I had never seen the LA Phil show such excitement. May it last during his entire directorship.
GUSTAVO DUDAMEL IS A VERY GOOD DIRECTOR AND A FANTASTIC CREATIVE MAN !
