Overview

Masked serial killer Michael Myers makes his seventh appearance in the eighth installment of this long-running slasher series. Although the climax of the previous installment, Halloween: H20, depicted heroine Laurie Strode Jamie Lee Curtis finally finishing off her brother/tormentor, the opening sequence of Halloween: Resurrection reveals that Laurie actually beheaded the wrong guy. Now confined to a mental institution, she quickly falls victim to her brother and longtime foe played this time out by Brad Loree. Cut to Haddonfield, IL, where a sextet of college students is assembling for the production of an online reality show in which they'll spend the night locked up in the killer's childhood home being filmed by dozens of cameras and broadcast over the Internet. Presided over by fast-talking producer Freddie Harris Busta Rhymes and his girlfriend/business partner, Nora Winston Tyra Banks, the players range from fame-hungry Jen Katee Sackhoff and food-obsessed Rudy Sean Patrick Thomas to rakish Jim Luke Kirby and cerebral Donna Daisy McCrackin. As these photogenic youngsters hunt for clues about Michael's tortured childhood, engage in on-camera sexual escapades, and discover the phony props planted by Freddie and Nora, Michael arrives to stalk them relentlessly one by one. To complicate matters, Freddie himself is skulking around in a Michael Myers mask hoping to scare up some ratings. As the bodies begin to pile up, thoughtful cast member Sara Bianca Kajlich manages to survive thanks to wireless email instructions from high-school dork Myles Ryan Merriman, but even the latest technology might not be enough to outwit Michael Myers. Halloween: Resurrection was directed by Rick Rosenthal, who previously helmed 1981's Halloween 2. The cast also features Thomas Ian Nicholas of American Pie and Billy Kay of L.I.E.

    I Also Recommend:

Halloween 8 was okay, at times the characters got a little annoying. It was interesting to see Michael's house, although we did see it in the other movies so...

The beginning was good where sadly it was the character Laurie's last appearance. But I thought maybe it would fit better near the end, instead of yet another cliffhanger. Question though, where's John, Laurie's son? Wasn't Michael going to go after him too? The story is Michael goes back home but finds people there who are exploring the house and etc. I'm hoping for a Halloween 9 where it should end the series, having bring back the old characters while introducing a new character as well. Maybe it's just me? There's the remake and its sequel...not seeing that. Just watch the original and the sequels...ignore part 3...Happy Halloween!

    Alright

This movie was not the best one I've ever seen but it was sure better then some other "scary" movies. There was great music to keep the suspense going but, I'm not sure I believed that the guy went 16 years without talking and that she killed him but he coomes back to life. However, there were some great parts during it so, I would watch it if I were you.

Halloween Ressurection was almost compared to the first in my book except for the fact that it was too short.

90 minutes of your life you'll never get back

90 minutes of your life you'll never get back. Starring Busta Rhymes in the Rapper-Exchange program, since LL Cool J couldn't make it from the last picture. I'll spoil it for you and save you seven dollars. Michael Myers isn't resurrected. They change the ending of the last film to say he never really died. Jamie Lee Curtis is in the first 10 minutes of the film the only part of the film worth watching. But by the end, you're hoping Michael Myers will come and kill you, just so you don't have to watch this movie anymore. * * * * * * * * * * Rating: F + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + F.Y.I.: "Paul" the weasel of the four friends from the American Pie movies is in it. And dies. So that's the 'plus.'

    Halloween 8

So this merely continues after the cliffhanger in part 7 where sadly Laurie is kept in an institution explaining how she ended up there. Michael then reappears FINALLY settling the score he had after so many many years. then a new generation of characters is introduced and have have some reality show involving Meyer's home from the original. this one did not bad and has yet another interesting to be continued moment. No doubt an okay movie.

    This was terrible

I was really dissapointed with this movie. They need to kill Mike Myers and make sure he's dead so that they can stop making these horrible sequels.

    Cannot sleep at night...

Cannot and will not believe that Laurie Strode is dead not this time. Just when things were getting good at least John Carpenter is keeping with the times of today. Computers and the internet way to go. Also showing that people of today will kisck back. :-)

    This Sucked

This was bad for Some Reasons Number 1. They made up a dumb way for Michael to Come Back Number 2.They Kill off Laurie Strode at the beginning Number 3. This movie was like a Jason flick Michael just kills countless teenagers in his house Number 4.They add Busta Rymes for comic relief using his So - Called Karate. . . Dont Bother This is the worst Halloween with Michael Myers

    WORST HALLOWEEN EVER!

I was very disappointed with this film I think that it was the worst in the halloween series I have ever seen. The Halloween series should have ended with Halloween H2O when Jamie Lee Curtis chopped of Michael Myers Head, I mean come on if you were not really Michael wouldn't you say 'STOP, don't chop my head off'? or something like that? And another thing Halloween Resurection doesn't even have anything to do with what the whole concept of the previous halloween films were about. I would not recommened this film for anyone in my opinion Halloween should have ended with H2O.

    One of the best

Ressurection was a good film. I liked how they put the blair witch camera style in there. They had great lines and story. I heard number 9 is supposed to have the son in it.

I want to thank this movie, it really helped me fall asleep. I mean Hello I love this movie but it is so not scary. The other movies in this series were MUCH better. Recommended just for fun, not to be shocked and scared!
