A pleasure to watch AND listen to this production introduces you to the man behind the music. Open to a myriad of influence and a vast array of talent, Herbie Hancock pulls together some incredibly original compositions. Because Herbie is open to other influences and respects the talent of others you will see some very main stream artists as you never have before. As well as seeing and hearing the creations in the studio, you will also get an in depth look into the heart and soul of the man that is Herbie Hancock. The segment on his travels to Japan are thought provoking as well as inspirational. His thoughts on life have left this watcher/listener with a profound respect for the man, and new found love for the music of this genre. You leave feeling that anything really is possible when man has compassion and love for mankind. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
