    Comprehensive, spellbinding!!

I saw this series when it first aired years ago. Not having been well-versed on Jewish history, the series was a revelation! Abba Eban is an expert narrator and guide through the centuries of Jewish history. The content is clear and easy to comprehend, yet, the span of time and amount of information is breathtaking. If you know little or nothing of the Jewish people, this is the DVD to buy.
