    How the U.S. Rose to Become a Global Superpower

    History gives its viewers a brief overview of the history, geography, socio-economics, and politics of each of the 50 states of the Union in the first three DVDs of the set under review. Some viewers will probably be left ¿hungry¿ for a more in-depth account of some states of particular interest to them. In the fourth DVD of this production, History offers its audience a more thorough coverage of three milestones in the history of the Nation, i.e., the Louisiana Purchase, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and the Mexican-American War. In summary, this DVD set is a good didactic tool to know more about the U.S.
