Once again Kevin McCallister's Macaulay Culkin family leave him behind, only now he gets on a flight to New York instead of going with his family to Miami. Kevin manages to hail a cab and is delivered to the doorsteps of the Plaza Hotel, where, using his father's credit card, he rents out a suite and has the time of his life -- although a smarmy hotel clerk Tim Curry and bellboy Rob Schneider eye him with suspicion. But ingenious Kevin keeps them at bay, using the same tomfoolery he applied to his uncle in the first picture. He takes time out from his consumer debauch to chat with a friendly old toy-store magnate Eddie Bracken and pontificate to a homeless Pigeon Lady Brenda Fricker on the meaning of Christmas. But then he runs into his old enemies Harry Joe Pesci and Marv Daniel Stern. When he finds out that they plan on robbing the old man's toy store on Christmas Eve, he mans the battle stations once again, complete with electric prods, flames of fire, and sundry blunt instruments. ~ Paul Brenner, Rovi

    A good sequel

This is the inevitable sequel to one of the funniest films ever made.Everybody returns, and they're all as appealing as ever.Brenda Fricker steals the movie as the Pigeon Lady. John Hughes,Chris Columbus, and their colleagues all continue their solid work. But there are a few problems this time. The movie is too long-it could have been cut by fifteen minutes. The story is not as fresh-it's the original all over again. And some of the gags are virtual repeats as well,so the movie is less amusing.Still, this is a good family film worth watching.

    Wouldn't you know it?

Oh, no! It happened again! The family rushes off to Florida and Kevin (10 years old this time) is off to New York. It's too bad Marv and Harry had to be heading there too. Will things ever be right again? This is a good movie, and a nice one to watch if you're in the mood for a good comedy.

Macaulay Culkin is lost from his family again in Home Alone 2 lost in New York

Not again. Kevin's parents/family are in a big rush again. They sleep in again, this time the whole family is going to Florida. This time they remember to bring Kevin with them to the airport. But gets seprated from his family and boards a plane to the big apple (New York). When Kevin's parents realize Kevin is not there, they go to the police station. Somebody please tell them to wake up earlier instead of sleeping in. He checks into a hotel. And goes to a toy story (where the owner allowes the children to play with the toys). He chats with the owner and tells him that alot of toy story owners don't allow children to play with the toys. The owner (Eddie Bracken) tells him that he will donate $$$ to the children's hospital. And Kevin gives him 20 dollars to donate. And gets two turledolves as a thank you gift. He runs away from the hotel when an he gets questioned about his dad's credit card. And know he's what on the street on christmas eve. When he discovers his foe's plans to rob the toystory he write a letter to the owner and throws it at the window. I'm giving the movie 3 stars because of the violence. If thier was lesser or none, I might give it more.
