Home Movies is a show about the character's and it has never failed to prove me wrong. Loren Bouchard and Brendon Small should be proud of this creation that is based on an eight- year old child named Brendon Small(Yes, relation to the creator) who pursues his life as a director making Home Movies(which would be movies filmed at his house). He is joined by his crazy yet clever friends Jason and Melissa and they make they're own so called masterpieces that lead them to discovering the reality of life. In the last season (which is the best) the group of friends strike genius with they're films and criticism by the people around them. Paula(Brendon's mother) is back as the careless yet protective mother(Ironic huh?). Coach McGuirk the soccer coach who seems to think himself as a role model of Brendon is back to cause further trouble with his childish antics(which are some of the funniest moments of the season and show). And it all concludes with an ending that made me remember how prosperous and progressive the show once was and still is. I love Home Movies and always will, the show lightened and livened up my morning(with the Dvd's) and night(with Adult Swim). Home Movies The Fourth Season is not just a triumph for the show itself it's a triumph of declaring itself as the best show on Adult Swim and that's why it hurts to say goodbye.
