Just imagine for a moment if you discovered that your entire world was being upheld by a clover-holding elephant named Horton? Yeah. I'd be speculative,too, considering it could be Bert from Accounting up to his old office jokes again. And those unexplainable quakes, massive changes in the weather, and voices from the sky are just apart of your overactive imagination. Maybe you shouldn't have eaten part of that WhoBeast before bedtime. It gives you the nightmares something terrible. Not likely! In &quot Horton Hears a Who&quot , Whoville's most devoted mayor Ned McDodd gets a serious, if not literal, wake up call from his ordinary life when he encounters the voice of Horton. Both are advised, Horton by Sour Kangaroo and Ned by the Councilman, to forget each other, that neither could ever exist beyond what is comfortably believed. It is rather improbable for either one to be true. An elephant in the sky? Tiny, imaginary people on a speck of dust? Please! But not impossible. Somehow, someway, for some very specific reason, Horton and Ned McDodd's lives have become intertwined and it will take both to change the hearts and minds of those who oppose them. Brilliant genius is behind the creation of this film. It's a gem amongst gems in the animated world for its endearing words and thoughts. proclaimed through each character. Courage to face your fears and doubts, belief in the impossible, faith to put forth and forward, friendship, love, family, and the quality of life are alive and shining as a beacon of hope and joy. It's a great testimony to the wonders that are around us. Nothing is coincidence. There is a reason and purpose for what happens in our lives. If only we listen...

Look No Further!

Do you like a movie that has animals and is really colorful? Horton Hears a Who is the movie I am going to be talking about. My point about this movie is that I really enjoy watching. It is very funny and I am going to rate it. Horton Hears a Who is a very great movie because it is very colorful, has a lot of animals in it, also it is for kids of all ages. This is going to be all about the movie being really colorful. Well, this movie is like a cartoon that¿s how colorful it is. This movie attracts a lot of kids because it uses almost all of the colors. The colors are kind of unusual because all of the things are a different color than what they are supposed to be like the trees are like purple, and they have pink and orange puff flowers. All of the colors that they use are really amazing and I love them. Now, this is all about the animals of the movie. I will say a few animals that I can remember the names of. Well, there is Horton elephant, a Kangaroo, and Horton¿s students, and the monkeys. My favorite scene of the movie was Horton was chasing the Speck and the monkeys was playing a game where they was stuffing bananas up their nose and Horton came running through and made the monkeys go up in the air and they got mad at him and started firing bananas at him. That is all I got to say about the animals of this movie. This one is about the movie being great for children of all ages. I think this because kids love color and a lot of animals. I know my little sister loves this movie. This movie is perfect because it¿s funny and it¿s fun to watch. The graphics for this movie is really great. Also, this movie makes you want to watch it again and again. So, now I have said everything I wanted to Horton Hears a Who is a colorful, has a lot of animals, and it¿s for kids of all ages. So, what I am saying is Horton Hears a Who is a amazing movie. If you don¿t like this movie than I guess that¿s okay. So hurry down to where all movies are sold and buy Horton Hears a Who.

Very Enjoyable!

After having finally seen this movie, I have to say that I very much enjoyed it. There are some great laughs and uplifting moments throughout this movie, and the voice acting couldn't have been better in this! My fiance and I had a great time watching this! It's fun for all ages. Do give it a watch if you haven't already! :-)

It's Not Pixar... but what? It's Still GOOD?!!

Non-Pixar films I have enjoyed for more than just 90-minute escapisms: Surf's Up (Sony Pictures), Meet the Robinsons (Disney - though produced by Pixar giant Lasseter), and Horton Hears a Who (Fox). Notice no Dreamworks. This movie is visually stunning (big, bright, colorful). It's got Steve Carell as a lead and Jim Carrey returning to brighten up another Dr. Seuss classic. Not a fan of Dr. Seuess myself, but this one did it for me. Great, fun movie. I have to pace myself so as not to watch it too many times. I doubt if everyone would like it like I promise about nearly all Pixar films, but if you need escapism that isn't just "stupid," then watch Horton Hears a Who. This is coming from a 26 year old husband.

Fun for adults too

I am a 51 year old grandma.I rented this movie to watch with my 7 year old grandson and found myself laughing out loud at the antics and funny things Horton the elephant often said.In fact I even watched it a second time by myself.

Hear a Who!

This was laugh out loud fun. Horton is naive to some things and that's what makes this DVD so entertaining. The supporting cast was funny and lively, and this was just great fun to watch. Grab your family and "hear" if you hear a who like Horton did. Enjoy!

Great Movie!

I've never been a huge fan of Dr. Seuss, but I found this movie to be an exception. It was very well done, the voice acting was fantastic, and the animation I felt was great. The best character in my opinion was Katy, she was just amazing!

Horton's awesome

I'm a big fan of Dr. Seuss movies and this is one of the best. Best character is little Katy. Watch this with your kids for sure.

Cute Movie

I actually bought this movie for my husband for Christmas and we loved it! I was afraid that it would be to over the top with Jim Carey and Steve Carell for an adult to enjoy but it wasn't. My niece and nephew love it too! It's great for both kids and adults.

Great for kids but it's lacking in something.

I had heard this movie was just adorable so, following the reviews and the talk, I rented it.<BR/><BR/>It was cute, yes, but best left for those under the age of 12. The plot is quite simple...Elephant hears that there was "Whos" living on a speck of dust on a flower so he tries to save them but everyone else thinks he's crazy. The humor in it is also another thing that anyone 13+ will find to be borderline stupid, but what can you expect? It's Dr. Seuss. Of course it's meant for little ones.<BR/><BR/>While it does have a bit of a Dr. Seuss touch, it feels like something is missing. I cannot quite figure out what but it could be in the music or the script or something, but it just feels a bit flat. The characters are done quite well and feel as though they might have come out of the book and even some cute rhymes give it a nice feel.<BR/><BR/>It may be good for a rent but not worth buying unless you did indeed have some little ones in house. It would probably be best enjoyed by them anyways.
