All the days that separate us.. The days.. The hours..

The Hours is one of the most beautiful movies I have ever seen. It entertains the idea that a woman's whole life can be seen in a single day, demonstrated via three very different women. These three women are all doomed, each in a different way. Though at times they differentiate enormously from one another, they couldn't be more strongly connected. The manner in which the storylines intertwine is lovely, as is the style in which each specific character is presented to us. I would in no way call this an upbeat film. Despite that, it is enchanting. Your heart will ache for these women. This film is good for the soul.
