Overview

For naïve audiences under the impression that sexual slavery is a thing of the past, director Christian Duguay's Golden Globe-nominated tale of the multi-billion-dollar modern slavery industry proves that even in the 21st century, human life can still be measured in dollars. Four girls from across the world, including a 12-year-old American tourist on vacation overseas, have been kidnapped and thrust into the terrifying world of international sex trade, and a specialized team of Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers are determined to bring down the global network that sponsors such heinous crimes. A former victim who has dedicated her life to protecting the innocent, ICE agent Kate Morozov Mira Sorvino braves the flesh-peddlers of Russia and endures the terror of an urban torture chamber located in the very heart of Queens in order to bring the ruthless kingpin behind these crimes to justice. When the world's most dedicated cop crosses swords with the man who drives one of the most expansive global conspiracies on the planet, the stage is set for an explosive confrontation of epic proportions.

    Terrible

This movie is in its cruel way excellent! It is hard to say that a movie is 'good' when the subject is the most cruel and scandalous thing that one human being can do to another, but the acting is very good ( so good that you are forgetting that it are actors and you are crying in your seat ore almost exploding from anger and rage ) and the storyline is also dramaticly tense and realistic. They must make more movies like this!

    Crazy people out there!

I am so glad that this movie is on DVD as well! The first time I saw Human Trafficking on Lifetime, it was a life-changing experience. This movie was so real, they couldnt have made it any better. Sure it was intense, but life is intense! The movie inspired me so much that I have made this my topic for my Senior Project! I am a senior at Cornell and a senior project,if you dont know already, is a huge project that we pick a title for to research. This takes months to do and after watching this movie I knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend everyone to see this movie because the public needs to understand whats going on in the world today!

    Eye Opener

I am glad this movie was made and that it has been put on DVD. People need to realize that the world is not peachy, romantic and fun. There are things out there that occur and people need to stop being so ignorant about it. Humman trafficking is a serious issue that affects thousands of women and children around the world. I recommed this to everyone, this can happen to one of your children, friends or relatives, and God forbit it happens, then you will really understand the pain those girls and familes go through. It is a strong movie and you need the stomach for it, but it is worth watching. The world is filled with demons and evil people, and this is a wake up for all of those who feel otherwise. If we don't stop it no one will.

OMG, theses dudes are sick, man!!

Why would they put this on DVD? I saw it on TV and it scared the heck out of me. They had decent acting, but it was just to suspensive for me ( and my stomach,) and they should think twice before putting it on DVD.If you haven't seen it on Lifetime, my advice, if you are sensitive and into nice, happy, funny, outgoing, romantic and beautiful movies, don't see this trash! The worse part is letting your kids see this. These may be based on true events, but leave that to the reporters or the cops. Why bother with this? God that movie gives me the chills. Don't Buy It! They are so sick those perverts! It was very bad, unless you think you can take it. Mira Scorvio was better in "Romey and Michelle" just as Donald Sutherland was great in "Pride and Prejduce". This will morally scar you for life!
