Overview

A teenage fugitive with an incredible secret races to stay one step ahead of the mysterious forces seeking to track and destroy him in this sci-fi action thriller from director D.J. Caruso (Disturbia, Eagle Eye). With three dead and one on the run, the race to find the elusive Number Four begins. Outwardly normal teen John Smith (Alex Pettyfer) never gets too comfortable in the same identity, and along with his guardian, Henri (Timothy Olyphant), he is constantly moving from town to town -- the perpetual new kid in a series of strangely familiar schools. Despite the fact that his nomadic lifestyle has made it difficult to form meaningful connections, John experiences the joy of first love with a beautiful young woman (Dianna Agron) and begins to unlock his full potential after arriving with Henri in a small Ohio town. With each passing day, John gains a stronger grasp on his extraordinary new powers, and his bond to the beings that share his fantastic fate grows stronger.

The first day i read this book i loved it. Its story amazed me and it kept me reading for hours at a time. Even though this book can sometimes be emotional and sad it still is a amazing book. The storyline is very well thought out and is well explained. There may have been sometimes where a sentance would not make sense or may have been to early to tell the reader that information but it still kept me reading. I advise you read this book.

I wish I could give it no stars. Mind you there was some parts that were ok. It doesn't even resemble the book at all. And the acting was horrible. They didn't go into detail about many things and somethings were hard to follow and understand. I was very upset watching it and I was exctied to see it. It was a huge disapointment for me.

I loved this movie! Theresa Palmer shines in I am Number Four as the bad-ass warrior sent to help John Smith fight the Mogadorians, she is so amazing! the fight and action scenes satisfy any action-junkie's expectations and practically make you want to scream "alright!!!! More!"! and the movie blends reality with sci-fi,young love with eternal love and a young man finding himself.Exciting like hell!!! I want the sequel! and to read the book! The Mogs are scary and fit the role for evil, sadistic antagonists!
