    Umm...am i missing something?

I just saw this movie, and uh.... i kind of missed how it was SCARY. sure, there are some frightening images, and a few jump out at you moments, but hey, this movie isn't half as good as Scream 1, or 2. (3 sucked) My least favorite part of this movie was the scene with Sarah Michelle Gellar. Why do the blondes and the cool people always have to die?the pretty girls are way better than the SMART brunettes! jeez!

    Extremely thrilling

My all-time favouite movie. The preformances by Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Freddie Prinze Jr, and Jennifer Love Hewitt were absolutely fantastic! The movie itself was funny, thrilling, and well thought out. Not a pure horror film, but defently a movie to tense up and at a few scenes jump and scream. You'll love it and want to watch it over and over.

    From All Movie Guide

During the annual July 4th festivities in a North Carolina fishing town, Helen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) wins a local beauty contest and departs with her boyfriend Barry (Ryan Philippe) and pals Julie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Ray (Freddie Prinze, Jr.). On their way back home, Ray hits a fisherman with Barry's car. The teens panic, drop the body in the water, and abandon the scene. Many months later, when Julie returns from college, she gets an anonymous note: ''I know what you did last summer.'' The four teens suspect the note was written by their classmate Max (Johnny Galecki), but then Max is murdered -- and the terror begins. (In the original Lois Duncan novel, the teens hit a small boy on a bicycle instead of a fisherman.) Screenplay by Kevin Williamson, whose credits include the 1996 box-office hit Scream. Bhob Stewart
