Being a huge fan of romantic comedies, and independent films, I was excited to watch this movie. However I was SO disappointed after seeing it. It was hard to get through, and toward the end I has to skip forward because I just coulden't take it anymore. The ''writer-director-star'' of this movie is very untalented and unappealing as an actor.

DON'T watch this movie if you're looking for something oscar-calibre. DO watch it if you're looking for a quirky and very funny independent film... emphasis on the word 'quirky'. The soundtrack is pretty good, too.

Watching this movie I could not wait for it to end. It was thin on plot, and so bad (not to mention boring) that it seemed to go on forever. Once I started watching it I wanted to see it through, I kept thinking that maybe it would get better, but it never did, it only got worse and worse.

I did not find this movie funny or heartwarming. Sarah jessica parker is such a bad actress and I never felt the warmth of the relationship between her and Schaeffer. It seemed forced and cold. The movie seemed like a collection of disconnected scenes lacking any cohesion. What I got was a movie full of unfunny and weird scenes that made me want to push them over myself.

It's not just that If lucy Fell is a bad film. 90% of what comes out of Hollywood is uninspired, formulaic dross just like it, and usually you can just shrug it off and forget about it. What makes this movie memorably, remarkably bad is writer/director/star Eric Schaeffer's nauseatingly immense sense of self-regard, which arises from every frame like the stench of yesterday's roadkill. The mere fact that the photogenically-challenged Mr. Schaeffer should have the likes of Elle MacPherson tell him he's 'cute' speaks volumes.

There were many aspects of this movie that made little or no sense whatsoever. The acting by Eric Schaffer and Elle McPherson was horrible, and the plot was thin and predictable. Sarah Jessica Parker and Ben Stiller should hang their heads in shame that they ever agreed to be in this movie.

I could barely get through this entire movie. I kept wanting to turn it off, but once I start watching a film, I have to see the end, no matter how bad the movie is. And you don't get much worse than 'If Lucy Fell'. I was just hoping that they would actually jump at the end, because she was annoying, and he was absolutely disgusting.

This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and that's saying something considering I saw 'Glitter' AND 'Gigli' (although Glitter was not by my choice- I took my little sis to see it). I love Sarah Jessica Parker, but she should hang her head in shame for acting in this piece of garbage.

I absolutely love actress Sarah Jessica Parker, however, I don't know what she was thinking when she agreed to act in this movie. With the exception of her and Ben Stiller (who has a very small role) the acting was what you would expect to find in a B movie. The plot is predictable, and at the same time unbelievable, because there is no way someone who looks like Parker would end up with the disgusting Eric Schaeffer.

'If Luct Fell' was beyond disappointing. Although the cast boasts the lovely Sarah Jessica Parker, and the hilarious Ben Stiller, even they coulden't save this movie. It wasn't funny, it wasn't romantic, it wasn't watchable.

I really thought that I would like this movie, because I am a fan of independant films, romantic comedies, and I like actress Sarah Jessica Parker. I coulden't have been more wrong about this film. It has to be one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I am just glad that I decided to rent it instead of buying it. This biggest problem with this movie is the lead actor Eric Schaeffer. I understand that he wrote and directed this movie, but I really think he made the wrong choice when he decided to star in it as well. There was absolutely no chemistry between him and the lead women from the movie. I found it very hard to believe that his girlfriend in the movie, Jane, would even give him a second glace, let alone date him. And him and Lucy (Sarah Jessica Parker's character) together just seemed creepy. Actually, creepy is a very good word to describe Schaeffer (not only his character, but himself as a person). The only character that helped the film was the artist played by Ben Stiller- he stood out in what was otherwise a horrible film, with horrible characters.
