This is one of my favorite films but it is an art movie. If you're looking for hollywood, fast action, soft porn gay content, you'll not enjoy this. The plot runs slow, and it is punctuated with lots of indie music. The characters open gradually and sometimes it feels like a stage play. This is Kate Fitzgerald's debut as a director so aspects of the movie do feel experimental. But stay with it. This movie has a resonance that takes a few viewings to get. Once you do, it will be one of those movies you pull out on a winter's day. And it's the perfect 'break-up' movie to help you get over an ex.
