Excellent Series - Mystery is a Winner in this follow-on production

This series is so well written and filmed that you feel like you are part of the story. Whately and Fox are real and engaging - excellent type casting. Also it is a look in British culture and human nature.

I will be buying more of the series as waiting for PBS to run it is not enough.

Wonderful Series, MORSE would be proud.

Sgt. Lewis, a little worse for wear, continues the sleuthing in Oxford with his new sargent, Hathaway. This continuation of the Oxford mysteries is well done, and a fine addition to my Anglophile dectectives on DVD I believe, as I did with the MORSE series, these stories are 5 STAR. You cannot go wrong adding this series, and the next to your DVD collection.

    more from this reviewer

If You Can't Get Enough of Inspector Morse....

This is a great sequel to the Inspector Morse series. It's interesting to see how Lewis has aged and how he has (and has not) grown to be more like Morse.
