    "Shall We Burn Him, Bury Him? What would he have liked?"

    I have to say, I like the movie version of Interview With the Vampire better than I do the original written one. All the excess words and scenes in the book are absent in the film, and all you’re left with is pure story. I love the way the movie flows from one time period to the next. The sets, the lighting and the music all combine to create a sad and delicate world. The only thing about it is that the actors speak so softly that I sometimes was forced to use the subtitle feature to understand what they were saying. But still, it’s a wonderful movie.

    #1 Vampire Movie

    First of all, this is THE best vampire movie. It is a Creepy & Scary movie, too. One of the creepiest part is when Claudia, Kirsten Dunst's character, kills Lestat, Tom Cruise's character. The scariest part was when Louis, Bradd Pitts' character, kills all the vampires in that place. There are also some funny bits in it too, although you wouldn't think there would be any funny bits in a horror movie. I would not reccomend this movie to children under 11, though, because there is nudity & gore in this movie. All the actors do very good in their roles, but Kirsten D. really did a good job, considering how young she was. If you are a fan of vampire movie you simply cannot ignore this one. If you buy it you won't regret it.

    Best Vampire Movie Ever

    This was the best movie about vampire and I've seen in my 18 years of life.Scince I'm a big Lestat fan,I loved Tom cruise's portrail of Lestat because he looked so hot in blond hair but let's not forget about brad pitt and Kristen Dunst.I think that Brad Pitt suffers too much in louis's role and that makes the movie better.I loved Kristen dunst's role as Claudia even though I didn't like that scene in the movie when she kills lestat.But the movie is still good and will be the best vampire movie ever!

    it played a smile on my face thought the movie.

    it was great i loved this movie as much as i loved the book it had a smile on my face the whole time and i couldnt help but luagh in some scenes but i have to say if ur a armand lover i wouldnt hold my breath he was ruind in this movie and the scene in the book where louie and lestat have to share a coffin is gone but thats ok it's still great i would watch it over and over again.

    The Book Was Still Better!!!!!!!

    As much as I like this movie (not only because young Brad Pitt was yummy) I still think the book was better. THere is just so much more content in the book to like. Its always better to watch the movie though, then read the book because it makes the book seem better but if you try to read the book first and then watch the movie its not so great.

    I loved it!!!!

    This movie was very intellectually stimulating. It kind of makes you think about the plot and what will happen next. Some parts of it I did not expect but were very interesting all the same. I'm SOOO glad I bought it. This is one movie I will watch over and over again!

    Love Love Loved it.

    I Loved this Movie, But i am not Sure if i love it more than the Book. I Love The Characters, and the people who play them. I thought They were all Wonderful. I Could watch this movie over and over and over again and it would never get old. I Have to say though my Favorite character is Louis, i love Everything about him. He's what kept me so interested in the story. :)

    A remarkable vampire film

    This is the one case when the movie is better than the book. Brad Pitt plays the melancholy Louis and is ultimnately turned vampire by the infamous Lestat, played ingeniously by Tom Cruise. Both actors play well off each other and bring untiy to the best vampire story ever created and flow visciously throughout. Torn between moral reason and the terrible desire to kill, Louis must face those demons within himself before acheiving that peace. However, the devilish Lestat makes Louis's life a living hell with his selfish ways and demanding orders. Truly a magnificent and unique story thought up by Ann Rice. To this day, Interview with the Vampire still lives eternal and is unable to perish.

    Bad vamp fangs equals lots of slurping and saliva spewing

    I saw this movie when I was in college. It was a big deal then because it was an Anne Rice book come to life in cinema. I pretty much liked it over all except for Tom Cruise. He was too short to be Lestat and his terrible wig was just laughable. Brad Pitt was better but he still slurped a lot from the pool of saliva behind his fake fangs. Tom Cruise was even worse.

    IT'S A WINNER!!!!

    I have seen just about all the Vampire movies I can think of, but this one is the best of them all. There will never been another one like it, EVER!!!! Brad Pitt is superb, great, awesome and sooooo believeable. Banderas is sexy as usual. Cruise, well, I am not a big fan, but thought he did a great job. I would never consider this movie a horror flick, more of a drama/suspense/love story. It is a must to have in your collection of movies to watch again and again, with the lights out.

    BEST MOVIE EVER!!!

    This is one of my favorite movies! It stays pretty close to the book and the ending is terrific! Tom cruise, Brad Pitt, Anotonio Banderas, and Kirsten Dunst also do an excellent job! Not to mention that Tom Cruise looks insanely hot!!A must see!

    THIS MOVIE ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

    This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I think it was extremely well done and the acting was great in my opinion (Though I'm no expert). It's also great for all you Brad Pitt and/or Tom Cruise fans out there ;) THey did a great job. I think Tom Cruise portrayed Lestat wonderfully, and the same goes for Antonio Banderas. He was perfect for Armand. Anyway, I think it was a touching and beautiful movie, aside from also bloody and gorey (which I love!)!

    Beautiful

    This movie was altogether the best vampire movie I've ever seen. It captures the gloominess and enchanting atmosphere of the book. Also Tom Cruise(Lestat), Brad Pitt(Louis) and Kirsten Dunst(Claudia) all play the characters exceptionally. This movie really stayed true to Anne Rice's book, unlike the movie Queen of the Damned.

    A Vampire Masterpiece

    This movie was one of the best vampire movies I have ever seen. I am very into vampires and this one really captures the essence of all vampire kind. I truely love it. Brad Pitt (Louis), Tom Cruise (Lestat) and Antonio Banderas (Armond) make truely convincing vampires. Newcomer Kirsten Dunst (Claudia) plays a wonderful part as the younger girl turned vampire by Lestat. This is a wonderful movie filled with action, suspense, love, and heartbreak. I recommend this to all lovers of life, love, and vampires.

    Es una pelicula erotica, romantica y hermosa.

    Esta pelicula es la unica de vampiros que me apetece ver una y otra vez. la tematica y la adaptacion son fantasticas, a pesar de salirse de los argumentos del libro. son impactantes las actuaciones de Brad Pitt y Kirsten Dunst, son hermosos su personajes y las interpretaciones que ellos hicieron.

    Beautiful

    I was truly blown away by this film. It's dark artistry is just captivating and it has become one of my favorite movies of all time.

    The best film EVER!

    Although much is wrong in the film ( Cruise is WAY to old to play Lestat, -And his hair isn't blond enough. Pitt's hair is also a wrong colour (Brown not black), Banderas can no way pass as a teenager and so on..)But inspite of all these errors it's just fantastic! I just love the whole atmosphere and all the ..hmm feeling in it! certainly a MUST SEE film! -And without a doubt a more ''true'' adaption than ''Queen of the damned''!

    almost as good

    i'v read the book and watched the movie, and i have to say that the movie really brought to life the charicture of lestat. I thought it was beautifully made and vaer authentic. tom cruis did a wonderfull job. as did brad pitt and the gang. I loved the movie but i think the should have made the end more like the book. for instence there is a lot more to it whan louis is talking with Armond. they went up into a tower and talked as well as in Armond's little room. just little things like that, that I think, should have been put in. all and all i'd say it was an increible movie and a wonderfull book. so i'l give it five stars. ~Elita Sinclair~
