    not a good choice

If you truly love Jerry Lewis this DVD will only make you sad. He spread himself too thin with other projects and figured he could just sail through a 2 hr tv show...This particualr episode has some excellent guest choices i.e. Sam Cook, but Jerry is just not happening!
Most of the show he is railing against ABC for the cancellation and when he does do a number he can't seem to decide whether he wants to do it straight or in character...the worst...I wound up just fast forwarding thru all his scenes and went straight to the guests whom I really wouldn't have cared less about. This is well before his legendary fall and into narcotic addiction so hard to forgive this unprofessional spit in the eye!
