First off I am a diehard Tom Selleck fan... I just love everything about this character, no one else could have played him. Doesn't matter that Selleck is a few decades older than the how Stone was written. From the crisp dialog to the quiet moments with moody music, to the wonderful character actors you totally believe they are who they say they are. Even the dog plays a major role as the conscience for Jesse. I did enjoy this movie, maybe not as well as the rest. Think mostly because, although Kathy Baker is great as Rose, I still miss Viola Davis as Molly who had such great chemistry with Tom Selleck. I do own all of the DVDs and will be purchasing the latest one (Benefit of the Doubt) as soon as it comes out.
