I have the DVD and CD of the concert from the Royal Albert Hall. I purchased tickets this month (july) to hear him play in December. I am truly addicted to his music. He puts so much heart and soul into his music. The talent and dedication to his music is undescribable. A true MUST have...
Incredible show by a guitar virtuoso. There's lots of close up footage of his amazing fretwork. The video captures the essence of that night. You will not be sorry you bought this video!
My husband and I travelled from Seattle, WA to London, England to see Joe perform at the Royal Albert Hall on May 4, 2009. This DVD is very special to us since we were there and WE are in it about 10 times! Joe wrote on our DVD cover "You are the Stars of this DVD!" That should tell you something about who Joe is...humble, personable, magnificent guitar player and performer, and he definitely remembers his fans! You won't be disappointed with this DVD. It's amazing that one person could put on this nonstop action DVD and carry the show...himself. He IS the driving force behind the band but drummer Bogie Bowles AND Anton Fig put on an impressive performance as does Carmine Rojas. Rick Melick on the piano/organ and the horn musicians add to the show. A special guest appearance by Eric Clapton and Paul Jones are just icing on the cake and cherry on the top. An awesome 2 hours of viewing fun. BAd Kitty (visit Joe's website)
If you don't know the name "Joe Bonamassa" and you love guitar masters like Clapton, Page & Beck, then treat yourself to this fantastic concert from the Royal Albert Hall. Joe blows the roof off in a dazzling display of virtuosity that will make a believer out of any newcomer to his sound. Highly recommended.
