All John Denver Fans should have this DVD as well as the CD of the Wildlife Concert music. I watch it often - John was his very best and he will be missed. I hope they release more video of his performances!

never realized what a creative, musical genius and performer this man was until after his death. this concert brings all of this out. john denver alone out front with just his chrisp, clear voice and guitar ability in-hand. with his excellent back-up band, the music and the words relate stories in the folk tradition. some of the songs will bring tears to your eyes. no pretend glitz here, just pure talent. my opinion, one of the very best concerts ever!

If you appreciate John Denver's music, then his Wildlife Concert is a must for your collection. It was John's finest. I was privileged to have seen the concert in person and was overwhelmed at how John's voice had matured. The nuances of his mature voice, coupled with the old familiar songs was superb. And the audiences, both in person and in the video, responded enthusiastically. The first few chords of each song would bring a round of applause as people recognized their old favorites. The visual impact of seeing John in his later years only adds to John's wide acceptance by audiences of all ages. And the new musical styles of his band adds a freshness to the old favorites as well. In one particularly poignant moment, during his rendition of ''For You,'' people were surprised to discover that John plays the piano as well. That selection alone is worth buying the video. It continues to bring back good memories of an awesome concert and a legendary musician and talent. He will be missed!

This DVD provides a wonderful reflection of John Denver's talent and his commitment to the environment. His strong connection to the environment and his desire to make a difference on this planet are obvious. It is a treat to hear him sing many of his big hits but also some of the lesser known songs as well. Anyone who loves John Denver and/or feels a strong connection to the natural world will find this DVD a joy.
