Overview

Johnny Cash performs a memorable concert for a group of incarcerated men on this concert film that comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer that produces an image with an aspect ratio of 1.33:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but with classic songs like "Folsom Prison Blues," "Orange Blossom Special," "A Boy Named Sue," and over a dozen others on the set list, this disc is well worthwhile for fans of "The Man in Black." Among the guest stars who make appearances are Linda Ronstadt, Roy Clark, and comic Foster Brooks.

The DVD is fairly short, only about an hour. I was expecting mostly Johnny, with a few songs from the other artists, but it was about 50/50, so unless you really like Roy Clark, Foster Brooks and Linda Ronstadt, you'd be better off getting his Anthology DVD.
