Although the Jonathan Creek series is fairly old now, the stories themselves are still as entertaining and funny as they ever were. The combination of Jonathan and Madeline are a great match and play off each other in a most engaging way. The stories themselves are usually murder mysteries but without the blood and gore and it's always fun trying to work out who did it before Jonathan sums it all up at the end.
