Overview

British heavy metal heroes Judas Priest embrace the DVD format in a big way with this release, which combines music videos, television appearances and a live concert in one package. Judas Priest: Electric Eye has been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. No bonus material has been added for this release, but given the amount of music included in this collection, few fans of the band are likely to complain.

Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble
A veritable video feast from heavy metal legends Judas Priest, Electric Eye brings to DVD the bulk of the band's 1980s promotional videoclips -- 13 in all -- plus the 1986 concert production Priest...Live!, recorded in Dallas, Texas, during the band's "Fuel for Life" Tour, supporting the Turbo album. In addition to the DVD debut of these long-out-of-print-on-VHS staples, the disc includes several bonus tracks, recorded for the BBC music programs Top of the Pops and The Old Grey Whistle Test.

I made the mistake of first buying 'Demolition' and then 'Live in London'. At the time, I was stupidly unaware that a talented singer was replaced by an inbred cracker. Don't make the same mistake I did by wasting money on 'The Ripper Years'. Halford or bust.
