this movie was really awesome! it showed u the life of two teenager boys as they make their way around the city, and Telly's quest for Darcy, a 13 year old virgin whom he has his eyes set on. Leo Fitzpatrick is phenomenal in his first acting role and as an unprofessional actor and plays the actoer of Telly so realitsicly and believing. A movie about a warning about the future of our teens!

I saw this movie about 9 years ago, when the movie ended I was left speechless. I just stared at the screen even after the credits finished rolling. This is a movie that all teens should sit and watch. Especially those that are living recklessly. They need to see from a different perspective other than their own what are the consequences of their actions. Parents are strongly recommended to watch this with thier teens.

This movie takes you aback, not because of the graphic and sexual realism but also the sociopathy of the males in the film. As is to often the case in today's post-modern world, theses adolescents are frustrated, horny, and abysmally devoid of purpose. Larry Clark, unlike his other films, has a social conscience and it tells us teens "Wake up."

I saw this movie when i was about that age, and i could not move at the end. this movie is absolutly groundbraking cinema of this generation. The most un-settling about this entire move is that it is so, so true to real life in the eyes of a suburban teen. I urge everyone to see this film.

I first saw this movie in 96. Back then I was not much older than the charaters in the movie. The movie spawned many referances among my group of friends. This is a movie that at the end you sit there in quiet reflection as the credits roll.

This movie is such a wake up Call to alot of people. As I was watching the Movie some part of me felt like wow, this is my life. I think that Parents should really just sit down and watch this movie with there kids and make them aware of things that happened. I think this movie should be placed in theaters world wide to make the children of American aware, I know if I would of seen this as a teen My life would just have gotten turned around.

I THINK THIS MOVIE WAS EXTREMELY SAD AS IT WAS TEACHING. I FELT SORRY FOR DARCY AND FOR JENNY. TELLY DID NOT EVEN KNOW HE HAD THIS VIRUS, AND WAS GOING AROUND INFECTING THESE VIRGIN GIRLS ONE BY ONE. WHAT WAS GOOD ABOUT IT WAS THAT JENNY WAS TRYING TO SAVE DARCY FROM SHARING HER FATE, BUT SADLY IT WAS TOO LATE.I THINK ALL TEENS SHOULD BE SAT DOWN BY THEIR PARENTS AND WATCH THIS MOVIE SO THEY WON'T SHARE THE FATE OF THE CHARACTERS IN THIS MOVIE...

this movie is really based on truelife. I love all the scences and I can relate to a lot of them. I recommend that everyone go see this movie because this is how life is it's about time some one make a movie about true life and how KIDS really are. Larry Clark is the best and he makes awesome movies that have some meaning.

KIDS has to be one of the greatest movies ever made. I could watch this movie just about every day. One scary aspect of this movie is the fact that this is just about how about half of the people i know live this way.

This film, like Clark¿s excellent `Bully¿ is a stark, brutal study of the direction of modern urban youth. Bored, vulnerable and directionless, the characters hide behind a thin mask of forced bravado, innuendo, alcohol and drugs. The utter meaninglessness of their lives is summed up in the assertion of Telly that there is nothing to his life but casual sex. Sadly, this will come to matter more than he realises as the main characters are to be faced with a brutal dose of reality. The film derives much of its force from the fact that the viewer can see the approach of impending disaster but can do nothing but watch it unfold. The characters are portrayed in a less-than-sympathetic light, the character of Telly being particularly loathsome. Yet despite this, they somehow gain our sympathy if only through their sheer naivety and vulnerability. We wonder who is really to blame for the mess they find themselves in. Perhaps, in posing as it does uncomfortable and awkward questions for society as a whole, we can see the real reason why this film has been dubbed `controversial¿.

This movie deals with real life today. A life that presents itself time and again to teens. A life of drugs, lust, ignorance and feelings of immortality. Being a teenager myself, I see this social commentary of this life as not only frightening, but extremely accurate while bringing the issues to the foreground at the same time.

This film really focuses on what real life teens go through on a daily basis. I am personally a teen who has done alot of the things they do in this film. Everytime I watch this movie I have a good laugh and realized how screwed up this world is today.

This movie was outstanding. Shows how kids really are to a day basis. Drugs, sex, fighting all day to day things that kids have to deal with. Kids is a movie that i just want to watch and smoke a joint to just to get more into the movie. Outstanding cast, too bad Justin Pierce killed himself, i loved Casper's role in the movie. casper the friendly cost.... Fitzpatrick, he hit off two virgins in one day, damnnnnn that sh@t should be illegal or something.... overall great movie....!!!!!
