Kill Chiba Collection

Overview

All are presented in their original 2.35:1 widescreen pictures with stereo sound, though their quality isn't something to write ...

Included is The Bullet Train (which was purportedly the inspiration for Jan de Bont's Speed), along with The Executioner and the spy classic Golgo 13: Assignment Kowloon. All are presented in their original 2.35:1 widescreen pictures with stereo sound, though their quality isn't something to write home about. Each one is quite washed out, with age marks throughout each print, while the audio is consistently full of hiss and pops. This won't be a surprise to those accustomed to Saturday-afternoon chop-socky flicks, but those who expect quality should be warned. The discs have also been released before on the same label, so those who have purchased these separately should stay away from this one, unless you really dig on the yellow-and-black packaging. If you're not in the know and are looking for true Chiba genius, look no further than the Street Fighter series, because they just don't get any better than that!
