Editorial Reviews

Barnes & Noble - Donald Liebenson
Fans of this pedigreed British animated series based on the books by Mark Inkpen will welcome this collection of six fetching stories. First, no matter what he tries, Kipper cannot avoid a "Sleepless Night." Next, Kipper tries increasingly silly ways to cure his "Hiccups." Kipper's friends think "Kipper Is Unwell" after his face is (unbeknownst to him) spattered with dots of red paint. Then, Kipper and friends go out on a limb to rescue a kitten from "The Conker Tree." Friendship is the best medicine for a malingering friend in "Tiger's Cold." In the last story, Kipper is sad after donating some of his prized possessions to "The Jumble Sale." The leisurely paced Kipper is a welcome respite from louder, more frantic series. The soft colors are gentle on the eyes, while the playful, jazzy score perks the ears. Most delightful is the fun Kipper and company conjure up with their imaginations.

An absolute delight to share with my child!

I love watching the Kipper videos with my son. They are warm hearted, clever, fun and engaging. I would even go so far as to say that Kipper and his friends, Tiger, Pig, Arnold and Jake, have taught him about friendship and the world around him. My son is too young to appreciate how funny some of the characters' lines really are but the parents surely will!!! You won't mind having your child watch these stories - they beat The Thomas series tenfold.

    Kipper is WONDERFUL!

This and all of the Kipper videos are fantastic. My children, aged 3 and 4, adore them. The characters are well-mannered and gentle. Even my husband and I like to watch, which you really can't say about all kid videos.
