This is a wonderful movie I enjoyed and it was well presented. It talks about growing up, fitting in, being accepted, getting along with others. making and keeping friends, remorse, love, the meaning of family and Lassie does a wonderful job in turning this cynical city boy around. The Turner family made a wise choice, a smart decision and a good choice to move out of Baltimore because life in Baltimore has been becoming increasingly complex, so crowded, so stressful, so crowded, so crime-ridden and an undesirable place for families to raise children. In that Virginia small town the the Turner family made a good choice to move there because of the low crime rate, not so rushed, way less stressful, much less expensive and a much better environment for families to raise children. Matt had a lot to learn and it was Lassie that helped him learn about nature, how to make new friends his age, to live a positive lifestyle and Lassie became a major part of the Turner family.

whew..i love this story so much.. though honestly, speaking i don't really into dogs as a pet but with this, with lassie he's a wonderful dog that i want to have. he's like a shining armor dog that when times you got lonely he's there feeling your loneliness deep within him but he takes that away from you and let you think and realize that life turns around. you don't have to get easily lose hope... animals are really like human they can also feel what humans do.though they can't really react or say with words but through thier actions you could see and understand why GOD create animals to be with us - humans. In life, every living things has a purpose in this worls it depends on you on how you face it. see for yah self guys... i'm pretty sure you'll gonna love it!! heheh.. :)
