First off the line-up musicians is outstanding. Second the way all these talents merged into this wonderful cohesive sound was nothing short of magic. Third the joy watching the players interacting while playing their respective instruments..again magic..What a fun music DVD

    Rit Returns

Prolific guitarist, composer, arranger and producer Lee Ritenour returns with a stellar group of musicians to release the long awaited "Overtime"DVD in 5.1 dolby surround sound. An intimate setting in which the musicians play to eachother in almost telepathic synergy, the DVD spans Ritenour's far reaching influences from Brazilian music to jazz and funky grooves. Playing with musicians he has played with for years like Ernie Watts, Ivan Lins, Dave Grusin and Patrice Rushen among other virtuosos, the music takes on a loose but highly cohesive ease. The cheerful Ritenour is in fine form as always showcasing his flawless technique and magic touch. A wonderful spontaneous DVD.
