I read all the books at least 4 times each. If I saw the movie before I never would have been interested in the books.

I was so excited when I saw the movies for rent in Blockbusters. The movies were awful. I was so disappointed that I warned others not to rent or buy them. The movies were cheap and the wrong characters were cast. I imagined the main male characters to be tall; at least 5'11, medium build w/ dark hair (except Ben Judah). He should have been shorter and heavier. What happened to the special effects?? Had I seen the movie first I would have never read the books.

I read all the books before seeing the movie. I was disappointed in the movie only because Cloud Ten Pictures didn't seem to have the budget to really do the story justice. However, I'm glad I purchased BOTH movies (I and II) because anyone I lend them to - WANT to read the books afterwards. The STORY IS GREAT - it just needs a good production budget to make it the 'epic' that it truly is. I recommend buying and having the movies on hand so you can use them to bring others to read the books, which will then give them a greater understanding of what is to come, and even bring them to Christ. This seems to be the greatest affect the books have, and I am so grateful for that. AMEN!!

Keep in mind that TriStar or MGM or Paramount wouldn't touch this screenplay and my hat is off to Cloud Nine for taking the chance on making this awesome book series into movies. They did what they could with what they had to produce a movie worthy of attention. No, it's not Star Wars, but is Lucas a Christian? We need to pray for a 'Mel Gibson' of sorts to take on this project and help the series live up to its potential! If God wills it, it'll happen!

I thought Left Behind (The Movie) and Left Behind (Tribulation Force II) were awesome. I am glad; however, that I read the books first so that I could better understand what was happening. A lot of facts are cut out due to the length of the movie -- but I still think both were fantastic. I look forward to the next movie. I hope it is in the works and will be released soon.

When I watched the movie and I suddenly thought that movie was worse than any kind of B horror films. -The cast were too christains, need villians (a true christains will hire bad n good christains ). -(No captions? I only found one store with used closed caption and I bought it for my Deaf friends) (This version was 'special edition' on Left Behind part 1). -Too much Star Wars like (I don't like the look the fake airplanes and fires bombs.) -Left out too many scenes from orginial book. (Normally, I would expected to be like that, but I didnt expect it turns out to be one hour instant microwave film.) GET MGM TO CONTRACT WITH CLOUD NINE or Cloud nine will be stuck in cloud and smoke til high.

A Great tool for Evangelism I think it would make a lot of unsaved people get themselves right with God.

I have been one of the biggest fan of the Leftbehind the adult and also the kids series for more than a year now and this is the best movie i've seen in years and will always be my favorite movie. If you liked the movie go and read the Leftbehind series and if you have children get them interested in the Leftbehind the kids series. Even though I'm only 13 years old I understand both the Leftbehind movie and also the Leftbehind books. SEE IT!!Read it!!! DON'T BE LEFTBEHIND!!!!!

The movie did a bad job of sticking to the book, and you could tell they had a low budget. I got really mad when they turned things around and messed witht the characters because it took away some of the story. But it's still pretty cool to have a Left Behind movie.

If you read the book, then you would know that this movie did the book no justice at all. It was cheaply done. Main parts was left out, and main events turned around. It should have been made better.

I thought the movie was excellent. It got me thinking how close we really are to the Rapture.

When I first saw the commercials for this movie, I was so excited because it's about time Christian entertainment had some mainstream attention. But when I saw the movie I was disappointed because the story jumped around and many important elements of that made the book really great were left out.

I never actually got around to watching the movie per se, but the box it came in was awesome. It was three dimensional, ensuring a place for it amongst the realm of potentially perceivable and conceivable things. And perceive it I did! It was small enough to be ''taken in'' in one visual fell swoop, the first visual fell swoop ever so noted to my knowledge. If it was considerably more massive (like the size of a state or something) or alternatively, many millions of times smaller (like a protein strand), it may have been effectively unobservable. But the size was right. And the box also seemed to assume the temperature of the room it was in, which I assumed to be 70 degrees. Talk about technology! I have seen boxes before, but never one with a VHS tape in it. Well maybe I have. Anyway, there was even this guy on the box that looked kinda of like that guy from ''Growing Pains''; you know, he had a mullet--Kerry Kamel or something--I think he does a commercial for it or something. It also had the name of the movie on it, which was a nice touch, particularly for those who might be interested in watching the VHS tape inside. Seems to be about some sort of Christian version of the New Testament or something. Anyhoo, if you like boxes , this is definitely a must see.

I seldom see a movie but this movie is beautifully made and realistic. I thank the author and actors for doing this great movie. God Bless them and I hope to see movies like this one again.

I will never again listen to what the critics have to say about a movie. Left Behind was fantastic and the acting was superb. I could not take my eyes off the screen. Once I rewound the tape I immediately started it again. The critics do not yet know that they will be amongst the group that will be Left Behind.
