The first of the two workouts was the Latin Dance segment. The music could barely pass for Latin music and the dance sequences were dull and repetitive. The second of the two workouts, the yoga fat burning segment, was worse. There was little instruction on how to correctly maintain each pose, probably because instead of holding each pose, Leisa Hart would have you do some kind of pulsing or bouncing movement. Her breathing instructions, which were mainly to puff and blow with each pulse/bounce, are opposite the deep inhalations and exhalations encouraged by most yoga practioners.

As an intermediate exerciser, I found the dance routine to be too repetitive & boring. Repeating the same steps over and over might be less intimidating to a beginner, though.

I've had four kids, so I've tried just about every prenatal exercise video ever made, and without a doubt this is the best one I've ever used. Leisa Hart is a tremendous instructor, she's the one from the Buns of Steel videos. She did a 20 minute salsa dance routine that had great music and was easy to learn, she teaches very well. Then the yoga fat burn was excellent, it was perfect for me and my pregnancy. She definitely know how to work out and teach. She looked incredible for being so late in her pregnancy, very motivating. There was also two other segments for labor and delivery prep and a stetch and relax segment that was very beneficial. It was a 60 minute video that easily could cost twice as most, I really really enjoyed this and recommend to anyone whose pregnant. FitMama is another one of Leisa Hart's great videos, I loved her MBC Yoga, which is what I did during my pregnancy also, and her TNT and BallAero videos. She is very diverse and well spoken, so I think anyone should try her out.

THis is like getting two workouts in one. i love dancing, and Leisa's instructions for pregnancy were great. THe dance moves were easy and very uplifting. The yoga fat burn was also 20 minutes long and really worked my core muscles to help for delivery. This is a great 60 minutes workout that easily could have cost twice as much as some of the other specialty videos cost much more, but this was a great production and Leisa Hart is a super video coach; I love her videos!

many times i've bought new pregnancy videos in hopes that the video would be as good as some of the videos i use all the time(when not pregnant!) and each time i've let down because the instructor just isn't qualified or the routine is not fun or not challenging...well, this FITMAMA routine is outstanding! I loved it, I could dance and connect with myself and the baby and feel alive. Leisa Hart is dynamite, she looks awesome at 8+ months and was so energetic. She has appeared on tv selling different products and I find her to be catchy and classy, and this routine is just that. She instills a smooth verse into each move and is never out of touch with whom she's teaching, moody pregnancy women! She did a great job in each segment of the salsa dance(20 minutes) and the yoga fat burn(20 minutes) and then the extra labor and delivery prep segment and relaxation segment(which I almost feel asleep as I was so relaxed). THis is fun during a review in a positive mindset, as too often fitness videos are just wasted money, but not this, it's well worth it(it's cheap compared to other videos) but it's also well worth the time. i loved it!

i really loved this workout routine, it was a great prenatal program and it came with my ob's approval. The moces are easy to learn and not complicated, the music was good and the yoga toning was perfect for my hips butt and thighs. I think I will have to get the DVD format to see the photo gallery and bonus routines. Leisa Hart is my favorite instructor, and she did an awesome job with this.

after having three kids and doign dozens of different exercise programs during each pregnancy, i think i have some validity in offering my recommedation os Leisa Hart's FITMAMA videos. The aerobic salsa dance was great, as was the toning and tips section. Hart is a genius, and absolutely love her Fitmama Postnatal and FitMama & Me videos, they are a must for any woman who is pregnanat and has a baby.

This workout is wonderful! Leisa gives great breathing/focus tips and the bonus section gives great pregnancy variances to common yoga poses that are great for stretching out that painful sciatic nerve!

Thought the video was well-rounded. Includes good introduction regarding safety with ex, etc. Also nice long warm-up, which is necessary during pregnancy. Salsa dancing for warm-up is also fun, a nice change from the usual aerobic moves. Yoga and abdominal strengthening portions show positions for the different trimesters. Can perform all of these at once for an ~1hour workout, or break down into segments. All moves are relatively simple, low-impact, but you still break a sweat. Lisa is cute, fun, and very pregnant in this video!

I was pleasantly surprised when I got this video. The salsa segment is simple but its great to get moving when you want to do a lighter workout. The Yoga and stretching exercises are easy to follow and very relaxing. I have found these exercise help ease back pain round ligament pain. Leisa does a great job of offering varying options for the different trimesters. Fun workout but not that difficult if you were already exercising regularly.
