Editorial Reviews

All Movie Guide - Robert Firsching
This is a powerful ghost story, skillfully directed by John Hancock and surprisingly well-acted by a talented young cast. Zohra Lampert is especially convincing in the title role, taking her performance several layers beyond the wide-eyed hysteria shown by similar characters in other films. The ending is a bit hokey, but Hancock rarely falters until that point. This elusive gem is well worth seeking out, and is guaranteed to raise goosebumps.

I am so glad this movie is available now. It's a gem of a movie. More chilling and spooky than out-and-out horror.

I saw this movie several years ago when I was little, and I have never fogotten it. It is one of those movies that sticks in the back of your mind and still scares you years later.

I saw this movie years ago when I was maybe 13 and I have never seen it again. It was so good that I wonder why it has never been played on tv again. But I tell you, once you've seen it, you will never forget it. It will definitely scare you.

thank god for fearnet on demand. i heard about this movie and couldn't find it anywhere and on a whim caught this on there and watched and man was it creepy and interesting at the same time. its about a released crazy girl, her husband and their friend. they move into a convincingly creepy country house where they're not alone. that girl emily so looked like a young meg ryan. the ending was a surprise and i was like "are you serious?!"
