    So Very Good

I have three boys, 12, 9 and 6. I was looking for a movie that we could all enjoy and watch together. I stumbled across Lifted and thought we'd give it a try. Many tears, cheers, sighs and smiles later, this film has become one of our favorites. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Uriah Shelton is such a light through the whole fim, it's hard seeing anyone wanting to do him harm. Some of the subject matter was too mature for the boys but the goodness in Henry (Uriah) outweighed the bad. There is a very strong scene between Henry and his grandfather that was upsetting to the kids. They'd never been exposed to anything like it before and my youngest said, 'Mom, that is a very bad man.' Ol' Grandpa gets his later in the film and the kids are once again cheering. I am very surprised that a soundtrack was not produced from this film. I would have bought for all three of my boys.
