You will NEVER receive it!!! I ordered this item in June of 2010. I began contacting customer service a month later because shipment was never set. Was given the runaround by B&N for months and months. Was told each time that the item was on order, to be patient and that it would only take 1-2 additional weeks. Was finally told today (October 2010) that this item WILL NOT BE SHIPPED TO ME AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!

Charley and Ewan make great traveling companions as we see the small towns and the big cities, wonders of the world and mud huts.
I love this video series. I love motorcycling and I love travel. I love the thought of seeing parts of the world that I've only read about. Long Way Down has it all!
In keeping with The Long Way Around, The Long Way Down was inspirational to go out and buy a BMW Adventure bike. The little tucked-away places that you only find by mistake, all seem to be in your/their grasp now. As a long time traveller of Africa it was easy to see that they just didn't 'get-it' though! Too bad as the story could have been far more informative and insightful to the armchair viewer. For a enjoyable DVD (and book) I do recommend this highly. Just don't think that you are going to come away with a better feeling for Africa, enduro riding, or bike traveling.

I loved the Long Way Round and couldn't wait to catch Long Way Down. Both Ewan and Charlie are engaging fellows and I love watching their adventures around the world. The interesting thing is, the further they get from "big cities," the more real their trip becomes. No one is hounding them for autographs or pictures and they get a real sense of how life is in these countries. UNICEF sponsors them so they visit the different stations and learn about the tragedies in those nearby areas. I would highly recommend this series and Long Way Round to anyone who enjoys a good adventure.
