Looking For An EchoDirector: Martin Davidson
Martin Davidson's musical drama Looking for an Echo comes to DVD with a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no subtitles, but the soundtrack is closed captioned. There are no supplemental materials, making this disc difficult to recommend to the average DVD consumer. USA Entertainment has done little with this bare-bones disc that will be of interest to those in a sentimental, nostalgic mood.

A wonderful, touching movie about a family that faces many crisis and still stands strong and together. And of course the music is just fantastic!!!! A very good movie to watch alone, with the family or just with the one you love.
I have the soundtrack and just love listening to the music but just recently I caught this movie on HBO. It has a great story and great Doo Wop sounds to go along with it. I have to go out now and buy the DVD so I can put it in my collection.
In its own way, this is one of the best movies I've seen in a long, long time. Sure brought me back to a magical time.
I loved this movie - certain parts of it really hit home with me as I have a great little friend that is fighting cancer (Christy Romano's portrayal of Tina is phenomenal!). Mr. Assante is very convincing, and the story and music are very entertaining. I highly recommend this movie for anyone that is just looking for a simple, yet wonderful, family film.
Movie was touching, funny, dramatic and the music is awesome. Armand Assante does a fabulous job of acting. Not a very good job of lip synching. Characters are great and movie just keeps your attention from beginning to end. The Doo Wop music was excellent especially ''This I swear''. The movie is so beleivable and one of my favorites!
This movie was great. Acting was very real and touching. If you love Doo Wop music, you'll love this movie. You laugh, cry and feel good after seeing this. Armand Assante is just AWESOME!
